Further to your recent application to Belfast City Council's Culture and Arts Project Grant Scheme (Second tranche).
The Arts Sub-Committee of 4 August 2004 had agreed to provide financial assistance of £3,300 to Factotum under the above funding scheme. the agreement was adopted by the Development Committee at its meeting on 18 August 2004.
However, as you are aware, at Full Council of 1 September 2004, it was agreed that this assistance be not provided in respect of 'The Vacuum' element of the Factotum application for grant assistance, until such time as Factotum provides an apology for any offence which may have been caused to Members of the Council and citizens of the City by previous publications, and provides an assurance that future publications will meet such criteria as may be established by the Council.
